This Christmas
This year, I’ve been extremely unholy. I didnt even go for confession this Advent. I’m sorry Jesus.
Today I went for children’s mass with Claire and Zac and it was like going back to basics. Simple language which just reaffirmed that Jesus’ love is so simple and so pure and that we should really reciprocate and live by his example.
I think I should make Christmas...

““You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly—that still hurts when the weather gets cold,...

Saying No
Today I was given a choice at work, So I said No. I said No to taking three of the clients to their Psychiatrist. I felt that it would be unsafe for me to be driving with three clients. It was the 3rd time I said no to my manager. But then after saying no, I feel bad, and I feel that I’m not being an independent worker and like I’m working as if I’m on placement, when I’m...

Passion and Culture
My friend Maria @ http://chatterjabber.wordpress.com/ wrote a post titled ‘Great mis-expectations’ which describes her current thoughts about working in HR and applying for jobs after uni, and she wrote this: “I’ve come to realise that all that ( a dream job scope) doesn’t really matter compared to how well you get along with your colleagues and superiors” and ended with...
I miss you, Mama
I had work on Tuesday and I was caring for an old lady aged about 65+. She often used her fingers to ‘comb’ or tidy her hair, and the way she did it reminded me alot of Mama. This is not the first time that I’m reminded of my grandma when I care for some old ladies.. So A would comb her hair not with her fingertips but with her fingers extended and mostly the middle phalanges in...

today is a day to remember: yum cha with catherine, and we came to the conclusion that Aussie guys are just not for us for the following reasons:
1) they can be weird
2) they are tooooo chillax..
3) they don’t make an effort
hehehehe

I'll be seeing you
I’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places That this heart of mine embraces all day through In that small café, the park across the way The children’s carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well I’ll be seeing you in every lovely summer’s day In everything that’s light and gay I’ll always think of you that way I’ll find you in the mornin’...

wouldn’t trade it for the world
weheartit Relationships come with a lot of tribulations. We fight, we yell, we get jealous, we cry, we feel pain, we hurt, we scream, we get frustrated, we get angry, we get upset, we break up and our emotions take us over. So why do we do it? Why would we want to feel not just sad, but truly hurt, sad to the point where your whole...

Our love is here to stay
by genevieve on Sun, January 23, 2011 · 1 Comment
I lie back on the couch and put my feet up on his lap. Our daughter is asleep, finally. We are both completely exhausted. He has made us toasted sandwiches- ham, cheese, shredded carrot and wholegrain mustard. I eat the sandwich in a hurry, forgetting to really taste what i’m eating. This is what life is like these days....
